Like everyone else we were a bit upset when Covid lockdown came into force near to Christmas 2020.

We love our festive workshops, meeting new people, passing on our wreath making skills and mainly just having a bit of a laugh. Sadly this was not going to happen..

So Debbie and I put our heads together via a few zoom meetings and came up with a DIY kit idea, it would be great for everyone to get the family involved and create something different at home.

Unfortunately everyone else decided to the same, we then came up with the idea to make ours just a little bit different and make some easy step by step videos, create a private Facebook group and get everyone to post pictures of their work. 

As we couldn’t meet inside, we setup a bit of a recording studio in the back garden, thank goodness it was a nice dry but very cold day.

Debbie took charge in front of the camera and me behind doing the techy bits. To our amazement we managed to do them all in one take and even if we say so ourselves thought we were really good !

Next step was sourcing all the materials which again was a bit of a challenge as all our preferred retailers were closed and everything had to be ordered online.

But that didn’t stop us we managed to get everything we needed, mossed rings, packed boxes, delivered, posted (they even made their way down South) and arranged pickups.

It was a great way for us to keep busy during lockdown and to be honest we really enjoyed it.
